Murdered of Pakistan origin person in East London


Islamabad, 28 Jan:-A British Asian of Pakistani origin has been murdered in the the East London Muslim dominated area of East Ham.Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command (HSCC) have appealed for information and witnesses following the abduction and murder of a 24-year-old man on Monday.

Police said Syed Shazad Abbas died in Royal London Hospital early on Tuesday , 24-hours after he was found with serious head injuries. His next of kin have been informed. A postmortem examination is due to be held but no date has yet being fixed.

According to te details Police were called early morning on Monday by a member of the public reporting that he had seen a man being beaten and dragged into a white coloured car. Despite an extensive search of the area, officers could not trace the car.

Two hours later police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a nearby road where Abbas had been found lying partially clothed on the pavement by railings to some waste ground. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital where his condition was described as critical.

Whilst officers continued to search for the car which belonged to the victim, they received another call to reports of a burnt out vehicle at another place. On arrival they found the Audi that belonged to the victim.

It is believed that Abbas had been visiting his sister before returning to his home just after 03:00hrs local time. As he was walking towards his house, he was grabbed by three men and dragged into the Audi which was driven off by a fourth suspect.
